We sat down with Wendy Fast, the owner of Brightway Insurance to talk to her about her about the company she started and what she can offer anyone looking for insurance.
Wendy has been in the industry for a long time. She started in 2013 as an auto claims adjuster and was promoted to the Fire and Theft auto claims unit in 2016. As time went on, she continued to thrive, and in 2019, due to the devastating fires that swept through California the previous year, she headed up a team to help customers resolve the fire claims.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she stepped into a different role of virtual Homeowner Specialization and found a path that would lead her to find plans for people instead of working through claims. Taking her extensive knowledge of the insurance world, she opened her own agency in 2023!
Brightway has evolved and expanded due to the time and dedication Wendy and her team have put in to building relationships within the community and with other professionals in this industry. These positive relationships help their clients find the best policies and plans for their needs, and this can range from business insurance to pet insurance. They proudly say they can help people find coverage in high fire zones, insurance cancellations due to prior claims, and almost anything in between.
Wendy not only works hard for her clients, but we also found out that she is heavily involved in her community. With her husband Vance by her side, they formulated a nonprofit for Veterans, Rogue Veterans Mountain Bike Alliance. This amazing organization helps service members through cycling and building a place of support. Wendy pointed out that she is not a veteran herself; she is always there to support and help the people who have served this country.
Keep Brightway in mind when looking for insurance. Wendy has no plans on stopping. She wants to be a resource for her community and help people navigate the complicated insurance world. She wants to change how people view the insurance world and hopes she can do just that with the professional relationships she is growing and fostering.
