We had the pleasure of sitting down with Ben Harrison, the CEO and Co-Founder of Matukat Construction, to learn more about him and the business that kept him going through the COVID pandemic.
Ben Harrison grew up around the hustle of the construction industry because his dad has been in the business for over 40 years. So, on January 1st, 2020, when he left his job at Lost Valley Dude Ranch and began his new journey with Matukat Construction, things could have been rocky with COVID-19 beginning to hit the area on March 12th, but there were plenty of projects lined up to keep him afloat.
Although the company started in Colorado Springs, it found its way up the pass and has done many projects here in Teller County. It does many types of work, from ground-up custom builds to add-ons, barns, shops, restaurants, and churches. Matukat helps anyone turn their dreams into a reality.
Ben is also a big supporter of the community. He is part of the Woodland Park Chamber, a proud sponsor of many non-profits, and enjoys being in touch with the community he serves.
