The Teller County Sheriff's Department has released its weekly incident report for the period of February 13 through February 19, 2025. These reports aim to keep the community informed about recent law enforcement activities and public safety matters.
Key Incidents:
February 13, 2025:
An individual was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear with original charges of driving under the influence, driving without insurance, careless driving, and fictitious plates, along with local charges of driving under revocation. Bond was PR $500.
February 14, 2025:
A warrant arrest was made for failure to appear with an original charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. This was a no-bond arrest.
February 15, 2025:
A person was summonsed and released for criminal trespassing.
Another individual was arrested for driving under restraint. Bond was $3,000.
A separate individual was summonsed and released for driving without insurance and driving without a license.
February 16, 2025:
A suspect was arrested on a warrant for kidnapping of a minor, violation of a custody agreement, reckless endangerment, child abuse, and violation of a protection order. Bond was $10,000.
Another individual was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear with original charges of driving without insurance and careless driving. Bond was $400.
A separate warrant arrest was made for limited gaming fraud. Bond was $1,500.
February 17, 2025:
Authorities apprehended a suspect for DUI, driving without insurance, driving under restraint, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an unregistered vehicle, and having a cracked windshield. Bond was $1,000.
A warrant arrest was made for failure to appear with original charges of driving under restraint and speeding 10-19 over. Bond was $3,000.
Another individual was arrested on multiple warrants for two counts of limited gaming fraud, criminal impersonation, and unauthorized use of a financial transaction device. Bond was $4,000.
February 18, 2025:
A person was arrested for DUI, prohibited use of a firearm, careless driving, and open container of marijuana. Bond was $1,000.
Another arrest was made for drug possession, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and driving under restraint. Bond was $1,000.
A separate individual was arrested for domestic violence, harassment, and multiple counts of child abuse. This was a no-bond arrest.
A warrant arrest occurred for failure to appear with original charges of failure to display proof of insurance and speeding 10-19 over. Bond was $400.
Another warrant arrest was made for failure to appear with an original charge of obstructing a peace officer. Bond was $500.
February 19, 2025:
A suspect was arrested for domestic violence, violation of a protection order, child abuse, stalking, false imprisonment, and harassment. This was a no-bond arrest.
Another individual was arrested on a warrant for limited gaming fraud. Bond was $150.
